This archaeological heritage event has been celebrated in France since 2010 and expanded across Europe in 2019. On June 12th, it will come to Gordailua.
This year's theme will be "From Dinosaurs to Humans: The Boundaries Between Paleontology and Archaeology."
Archaeologists constantly have to answer the same question: "Have you excavated any dinosaurs?" Since this is actually a field of paleontology, Gordailua has organized a special guided tour for the European Archaeology Days to explain the differences between these two sciences. During the tour, visitors will be able to see various paleontological and archaeological artifacts.
