The objects and their words

With the script of the writer Bernardo Atxaga, the production company Beittu Video SL is recording a documentary about the centenary of Euskaltzaindia. They have turned to Gordailua in search of Basque terms and the objects associated with them. Many of the everyday words in the rural environment of a century ago are strange in today's urban Basque, evidence of the evolution of Basque society and its own language during these one hundred years.
The recording was made in the Igartubeiti Farmhouse Museum, of the Provincial Council.
