In Koldo Mitxelena Kulturunea

Yesterday, July 17, the exhibition "Menchu Gal: live painting, paint living 1919-2019" was inaugurated in the Ganbara hall of Koldo Mitxelena Kulturunea, where it can be seen until September 28. Menchu Gal was born in Irun, in 1919, and died in his hometown in 2008. She was the first woman to win the National Painting Prize. Among others, works of the Provincial from Gordailua and Errotaburu, are exhibited, some of them restored for the occasion.
