It is a piece of special value because they are very few like this one and because it is very well documented. It was made with the sergeant's stripes, since Leturia had risen to that position; but then the Civil War broke out and the Francoist authorities suppressed the Miquelete Corps. Gordailua would like to thank the family for the donation, as well as the current “miqueletes” for their efforts to recover and document the piece.
